The Weekly Vibe
Turning Mental Storms Into Clarity and Strength
Choosing Calm in the Middle of the Storm
You know that feeling when you get sucked into the news storm? Doom headlines everywhere. People fighting on social media. Everyone demanding you pick a side, who’s right, who’s wrong. It’s like a whirlwind that chews you up and spits you out, leaving you tired and heavy.
But here’s the thing: you don’t actually have to get caught in it. Reality isn’t some one-size-fits-all broadcast you’re forced to swallow. Reality is filtered through you, your own inner experience. Just because the world is loud doesn’t mean you have to let all that noise rattle around in your energy. Fear, arguments, tragedies, none of them are mandatory.
And it’s not just about the news. This works with the everyday chaos too. Bills stacking up. Family drama. Deadlines. That endless list of things pulling at your brain. It can feel like its own storm, one that leaves you just as drained as the headlines. But the same principle applies—step back. Because when you do, you give your mind space to clear. And once it clears, it knows what to do. It’s automatic. You don’t have to force the answers. You just have to get quiet enough to hear them.
There’s another way to stand in it. Observer mode. Instead of, “I’m in the storm,” you shift a little and just watch the storm pass. You say, “That’s interesting,” and let it move on. You’re not dismissing, not condemning, you’re just watching. It keeps your vibration steady. Like standing on the shore watching waves instead of getting dragged under.
And here’s the deeper truth: when you hold that steadiness, calm, compassionate, open, you’re doing more than protecting yourself. You’re adding something to the collective. Raising your vibration isn’t selfish. It’s service. Every single person who can witness the chaos without soaking it in becomes a lighthouse in the fog. You don’t erase the tragedy by stepping back, but you do add light. And light is what’s missing when fear takes over.
If you need something practical, try this:
The Pause Practice.
When you read or hear something heavy, don’t jump to react. Pause. Say, “That’s interesting,” and let the energy pass through.
Choose your frequency.
You wouldn’t leave your radio tuned to static. Don’t leave your mind tuned to fear. Shift to gratitude, beauty, compassion, whatever keeps you clear.
Detach without guilt.
You’re not heartless for not absorbing the world’s suffering—or the chaos in your own life. Sometimes the most powerful help is refusing to sink. Keeping your energy high is its own kind of medicine.
Meditation.
Meditation is one of the strongest ways to step into observer mode. It helps you quiet down enough to hear what your mind already knows to do. To make it simple, I created a meditation for you that goes right along with this teaching. It’s designed to help you practice that step-back, clear-head space we’re talking about.
Observe your thoughts and body.
Notice what’s happening inside you without judgment. When tension or emotion comes up, just name it—“worry,” “anger,” “tight chest.” Then breathe. Watching your inner world like this builds the same observer muscle you’re using with the outer world.
Ground yourself.
When everything feels overwhelming, connect back to your body and the earth. Take a walk outside, breathe fresh air, feel your feet on the ground. Even a few minutes can shift your whole nervous system back into calm.
Energy-clearing practices.
These aren’t for everyone, but they help some people honor the physical side of things. Burning sage, spritzing salt water, using crystals, or saying affirmations like “I release what isn’t mine” can reset your space. They’re not required, but if you feel like you need a tangible reset, they work.
So maybe this week, each time you catch yourself about to absorb, step back instead. Observe. Hold steady. Whether it’s the world storm or the personal storm, the same truth applies. Because every time you do, you’re not just protecting yourself, you’re quietly lifting the room we all share. Your calm becomes a contribution.

This Week’s Vibe
September 22 – 28, 2025
Take with you what resonates, and if something doesn’t, let it go. This is a general guide for the collective, not a rulebook.
This week begins with the Virgo solar eclipse on Sunday the 21st, so we step into Monday carrying fresh reset energy. The Sun moves into Libra at the equinox (Sept 22), shifting attention toward balance, relationships, and fairness. Saturn continues retrograde in Pisces, keeping us accountable to the work of release and reflection. Uranus retrograde in Gemini stirs flexibility and changes of perspective, and Mars enters Scorpio, intensifying passion, drive, and sometimes conflict. It’s a week of big cosmic shifts, but also a chance to consciously reset.
Theme of the Week
Ace of Swords (upright) + First Breath: Beginner’s Mind + New Moon in Gemini (Think It Through)
The theme is about clarity and new beginnings. The Ace of Swords cuts through confusion, bringing a fresh sense of truth or a new way of thinking. “First Breath” reminds you to approach this week with curiosity and openness, as if starting again. The New Moon in Gemini card says: think things through. Beginnings are stirring, but they need focus and discernment to take root.
Challenge / Shadow
The Sun (upright) + Whale Song: Resonating + Last Quarter Moon in Gemini (Clear Your Mind)
The challenge this week isn’t hidden darkness — it’s actually the intensity of light. The Sun upright shines on everything, which can feel overwhelming. Whale Song brings resonance: emotions, memories, and truths may echo loudly. The Moonology card “Clear Your Mind” points to the need to quiet mental clutter. The challenge is not drowning in overstimulation or mistaking every feeling for fact. Let clarity emerge by clearing the noise.
Gift / Support
The Moon (upright) + Stars in the Sky: Limitless Possibilities + First Quarter Moon in Taurus (Release Control)
Support comes in embracing mystery rather than resisting it. The Moon upright shows that not everything is clear yet — and that’s okay. The “Stars in the Sky” card opens the door to infinite potential if you can stay open. The Moonology card “Release Control” reminds you that forcing outcomes won’t help. Trust the process: the unknown holds more possibility than you can see right now.
Weekend Energy
First Quarter Moon in Gemini (Speak Your World Into Being)
The weekend shifts the tone from waiting to creating. Words carry power now — what you say, write, declare, or claim has energy. Be intentional with language. This is a moment to align your inner voice with the reality you’re building.
Closing Note
This week begins with eclipse resets and asks you to approach life with a beginner’s mind. Clarity comes, but only when you pause to think it through. The gift is not in controlling the story, but in speaking it with intention and letting it unfold.
