The Weekly Vibe
We build the cage. Then forget we hold the key.
The Escape and Creation Paradox
Here’s an astute and rather piercing observation. I’ve noticed something in people: they build their own cages and then they try to escape them. And if you ever hear me say, “our world is our creation,” I mean that literally. The world we live in, the cities, the systems, the rules, the pressures, is the sum of billions of human decisions stacked on top of one another. But the deeper world, the one inside us, is even more self-constructed. We shape it through what we believe, what we fear, and what we desire. So when someone looks for escape, whether through drugs, distractions, or even spiritual practices, what they’re really trying to get away from is a reflection of their own mind.
It’s a strange loop we live in: we create the noise and the chaos, and then we create things to numb ourselves from it. We’re both the architect and the prisoner, the tormentor and the comforter.
From a spiritual angle, that tells me something important. The urge to escape isn’t always about running away, it’s often a misdirected longing for transcendence. It’s a hunger for something truer than the repetitive rhythm of daily life. The man-made drugs, especially, try to mimic that shortcut to transcendence, they offer a fake version of what the mystics and seekers once found through true inner work.
So when I ask, “What does it say about us if we need to escape our own creation?”, it might mean that what we’ve built inside and around us is out of tune with who we really are. It’s a signal that the self is asking for realignment, not sedation.
This idea, that the outer world is an extension of our collective consciousness, shows up everywhere: in Jung’s ideas about the collective unconscious, in psychology, in philosophy, in spirituality. It all points to one truth, if we want to change what’s outside, we first have to understand what’s inside.
And that brings me to meditation. For me, meditation isn’t about escaping this world or the world created by others, it’s about reconnecting with what I already know but somehow forgot. It’s how I receive information I already carry, a way to remember why I’m here, why I’m having this little adventure I call life.
Here’s the thing about getting out of the loop, it starts from the inside. You can’t fix a distorted mirror by polishing the reflection; you’ve got to change what’s standing in front of it. Getting out of that loop means re-creating your world from the inside out. It means learning to perceive things differently, on purpose. If something looks ugly or painful to you, find another way to see it. That doesn’t mean pretending it’s beautiful when it isn’t, it means shifting the way you meet it.
We still live in a society, sure. We drive the speed limit, we pay our bills, we do what keeps the system running. But there are other things, the private, interior things, that nobody ever got the right to legislate. Nobody gets to tell you who you are, how you should look, how you should love, or how your spirit should express itself. Those things belong to you. Society doesn’t own them, and if it ever tries to, society can kiss your ass.
That’s where the real re-creation begins: when you stop letting the outer world dictate your inner one. You start changing how you perceive what’s in front of you. If you see something that makes you angry, let’s say, factory farming, or any injustice that cuts at you, don’t just stew in it. Use it. Let that anger be a motivator, a signal of what kind of world you want to help build. Do something, even something small, that realigns you with what feels right. Because if you’re only reacting, only complaining, you’re still trapped in the same loop. But when you act, when you move with intention, you start to write a new script for your own consciousness.
That’s how you change your inner world: not by shouting opinions into the wind, but by bringing your energy into harmony with what you believe in. And if there’s something you can’t or won’t change, that’s okay too, release it. Let it fall away instead of feeding it with resentment. Both choices, to act or to release, are forms of freedom.
When you do that, your outer life starts to match your inner truth. And when you sit in meditation, you’re not escaping anymore. You’re remembering. You’re tuning back into the frequency of the world you’re actually meant to live in. You start to recall the reason for this whole adventure we call life, not as something to fix or escape, but as something to remember and re-create, moment by moment, from the inside out.
🌙 🗝️ 🌙 🗝️ 🌙
This is “From Cage to Clarity,” a guided meditation about remembering who you are underneath the noise. It isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about reconnecting with what’s real inside you.
The tone is simple, honest, and direct. Just you, your breath, and a little space to remember what matters.
Feel free to come back to this one anytime you need to reset or realign.
A Note on Extras
Each week’s This Week’s Vibe includes what’s happening in the sky, a reading that blends Tarot, Oracle, and Moonology cards, and a Birthday Note for anyone celebrating that week. I’ll also keep rotating little extras — things like a Planet Spotlight or Lunar Wisdom — so it stays interesting and connected.
This Week’s Vibe
October 20 – 26, 2025
Take what fits, leave what doesn’t. This is here to guide you, not box you in.
The Energy This Week
We start the week still under Libra’s influence — the season of peace, fairness, and partnerships — but by midweek, the Sun slips into Scorpio. That’s when things get deeper, more honest, and maybe a little intense. Libra wants balance; Scorpio wants truth. When these two energies trade hands, it’s like going from surface calm to emotional depth.
Early in the week, the Moon moves through Virgo, helping with clarity and organization. It’s a great time to sort, plan, or even clean up your space (outer order helps inner peace). Midweek, as the Sun moves into Scorpio, feelings get stronger, but so does intuition — so listen to those nudges. By the weekend, the Moon in Sagittarius lightens things up again and reminds you to breathe and find joy.
In plain terms: This week is about going from tidy to deep to free. Get clear, face what’s real, and then let it go.
Theme of the Week
Tarot: Three of Wands (reversed)
Shaman Oracle: A Tidy House – Clarity and Organization
Energy Oracle: Man Holding a Heart
This week is about taking a breath before the next step. The Three of Wands reversed suggests something might not be moving forward as quickly as you’d hoped — but it’s not a “no,” it’s a “not yet.” The “Tidy House” card encourages cleaning up your energy, plans, or priorities before moving ahead. The “Man Holding a Heart” brings compassion into the mix — this week’s energy has love written all over it, whether that’s self-love, forgiveness, or emotional openness.
In plain terms: slow down, tidy up, and handle things with care. Some delays are divine timing, not setbacks.
Challenge / Shadow
Tarot: Page of Pentacles (upright)
Shaman Oracle: Stranger – Curiosity
Energy Oracle: The Garden and the Gate
The challenge this week is fear of the unknown. The Page of Pentacles is ready to learn and grow, but “The Garden and the Gate” warns that staying too comfortable can hold you back. “Stranger” reminds you that curiosity isn’t danger — it’s discovery.
In plain terms: new things might feel uncomfortable, but don’t let that stop you. Step outside your comfort zone and see what you learn about yourself.
Gift / Support
Tarot: Five of Wands (reversed)
Shaman Oracle: Beloved – Radical Acceptance
Energy Oracle: The Thinking Man
The gift this week is peace after friction. The Five of Wands reversed shows tension easing — whether that’s internal or with others. “Beloved” encourages acceptance — not in a “give up” way, but in a “let go and love anyway” way. The “Thinking Man” adds wisdom — understanding things instead of reacting to them.
In plain terms: everything settles when you stop trying to control every outcome. Reflect, learn, and choose calm over chaos.
Weekend Energy
Moonology Manifestation: First Quarter Moon in Taurus – “Release Control”
The weekend’s message is simple: chill. Taurus energy is earthy, comforting, and slow-paced. The green color of this card adds a healing layer — emotional or physical.
In plain terms: let the weekend be soft. Slow down, rest, and let the world spin without your help for a bit. You’ll feel lighter come Monday.
Birthday Note (Oct 20 – 26, 2025)
If your birthday falls this week, this is your year to heal and rebuild. Scorpio season begins under your Sun, helping you see truth more clearly and love more deeply. This year is about transforming what’s old into something honest, grounded, and real.
Closing Note
This week wants you to breathe. Don’t push too hard or rush change. Make room, stay curious, and let peace return where it’s been missing.
🌟 Something Special
Every week, I’ll leave you with something fun, inspiring, or just a little extra to carry with you.
Did You Know?
The word Scorpio comes from the Latin for “creature that pierces.” In ancient astrology, Scorpio wasn’t just the scorpion — it was also linked to the eagle, symbolizing transformation through perspective. The idea was that once you face what stings, you rise above it with new vision. So if things feel intense this week, remember: every sting can become a set of wings.
Thank you so much for the support.
