The Weekly Vibe
This week is all about dream work. What they are and how to interpret them. Plus, a guided meditaion and tips to help you remember and decode them.
Dream Work: When the Soul Wakes Up
You ever wake up from a dream that feels more real than your waking life?
Like you were somewhere else, doing something that mattered, but then you open your eyes, and the body’s back, and you think, what just happened?
That’s what I want to talk about, dreams.
Not from just one angle, but from all of them: the physical, the psychological, and the spiritual. Because they’re all connected, and to really understand dreams, you can’t separate them.
I’ve studied dreams for years now, not just from books but from what I’ve lived. In 2015, I had a near-death experience and was unconscious for two months. You learn things when you’re that close to the other side. Since then, information just comes, like something unlocked. And I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do have experience, and I’ve seen what happens when people start listening to their dreams in a different way.
The Physical Side: What’s Going on in the Brain
Let’s start simple.
Scientists say we dream mostly during REM sleep, that’s the stage when your body’s relaxed but your brain’s lit up like a movie screen.
Parts of your brain that deal with sight, sound, and memory get busy, while the logical parts go quiet. That’s why dreams feel emotional, colorful, sometimes chaotic, but they also make sense in a deeper way.
From a brain perspective, dreaming helps clear out clutter, process emotions, and store memories. It’s the mind doing maintenance. That’s all true.
But it’s not only that.
Because if dreaming was just about clearing the mental junk, then why do some dreams stay with us for years? Why do we dream about things we’ve never seen, or places we didn’t know existed? There’s more going on here than just brain wires firing.
The Psychological Side: Adler, Not Freud
Now, this part is important to me.
A lot of dream interpretation, even today, still leans heavy on Freud. The idea that dreams come from childhood trauma, repressed wishes, old fears. I respect Freud’s role in psychology, but I don’t follow that path when it comes to dream work.
I’m not saying he’s wrong. If his ideas help someone, that’s fine. But for many people, that kind of thinking traps them in the past. They start digging through old pain, trying to find the “root cause,” and they never move forward.
That’s why I lean toward Alfred Adler’s way of seeing dreams. Adler believed dreams are about where you’re going, not where you’ve been. They show you what’s happening inside, your goals, your struggles, the things you’re trying to figure out.
To me, that makes a lot more sense.
Dreams don’t drag us backward into our pain, they try to guide us through it. Even a nightmare is just information. It’s not there to punish you. It’s showing you something about how you’re handling life right now.
Dreams are meant to pull you forward.
That’s the core of it.
The Spiritual Side: When the Soul Wakes Up
Now let’s talk about the part science can’t measure.
Because yes, there’s a biological side to dreaming, but there’s also a spiritual one, and that’s the part that changed for me after my near-death experience.
When we go to sleep, I believe the body rests but the spirit wakes up.
That’s the truth I’ve come to know.
In dreams, we travel. We visit other levels of consciousness. Sometimes we meet loved ones who’ve passed, sometimes we step into what you could call the collective field, what Carl Jung called the collective unconscious, but I call it the place where all souls connect.
Some people call it astral travel, some say it’s the spirit realm, some just call it energy. Doesn’t matter what label you use, the feeling’s the same. In that space, time doesn’t work like it does here. You can move between lifetimes, talk to someone miles away, or see things that haven’t happened yet.
And just like waking life, not every moment out there is meant to be a message. Some dreams are lessons, some are visits, some are just the spirit stretching its legs and remembering what freedom feels like.
Keep in mind, not every dream is psychic or prophetic. That’s where discernment comes in.
If you’ve been watching the news and dream about a disaster, that’s probably your mind piecing things together, not a vision. But if something comes through that’s totally out of nowhere, names, faces, events you’d never think of, pay attention. That’s when something beyond the ordinary might be speaking.
The other thing about spiritual dreams is that the people in them often represent parts of you.
That friend, that enemy, that stranger, they’re reflections of your own mind, emotions, and energy. Dreams give those parts a face so you can interact with them.
And sometimes, yes, you meet someone who’s not a reflection, a guide, an ancestor, or a soul traveling alongside you. You can feel the difference. The energy is clearer, sharper, more alive.
When people say “dreams aren’t real,” I say: no, this world isn’t the only real one. When we sleep, we wake up somewhere else.
How to Work with Your Dreams
If you start paying attention, your dreams will start talking.
Keep a notebook or voice recorder by your bed.
Write down what you remember, not just what you saw, but what you felt.
Were you scared, peaceful, confused, curious?
What sounds or smells stood out?
What colors?
Were you thinking logically or just reacting?
These details matter more than symbols from a dream dictionary.
You can look up meanings if you want, but don’t take them as truth. Instead, read the meanings and see which one feels right, that “click” in your gut. That’s how you know what the dream was really telling you.
Because nobody else can tell you the meaning of your dream.
A dream interpreter can guess, but your soul wrote it, so only you can read it.
If You Don’t Remember Your Dreams
People always tell me, “I don’t dream,” or “I can’t remember my dreams.”
You do dream, everyone does. The problem is that most people jump out of bed too fast. The body wakes up, but the spirit’s still halfway back from wherever it was.
When you open your eyes, don’t move right away. Stay still, keep your eyes closed, and ask yourself, “Where was I just now?” Sometimes an image, a sound, or a feeling will float back in. Grab that thread before it fades and write it down right away. Even if it’s just one word or one color. That’s how you start building the bridge.
Another trick: before you fall asleep, talk to yourself, out loud if you can. Say something like, “Tonight I will remember my dreams. I’ll wake up with the memory clear and calm.” It sounds simple, but intention opens the door.
Keep a notebook or a recorder right by your bed, so you don’t have to reach far. Even a few notes in the dark can spark a full memory later.
Now, here’s something I’ve come to understand: sometimes you don’t remember your dreams for a reason. You still had the dream, you still had the visitation, especially if a loved one was with you, but for one reason or another, the memory isn’t meant to come through right away. That doesn’t mean nothing happened. The knowledge from that dream, or that visit, still stays with you on some level.
There’s always a reason behind forgetting. And sometimes the memory unlocks later, at the exact moment you’re ready for it. I’ve woken up plenty of times not remembering much, gone downstairs, made coffee, and two hours later it all comes flooding back like a movie. Maybe my mind needed to fully wake up first. Maybe the message was waiting for me to be in the right space to receive it. Who knows. But it always comes when it’s supposed to.
So don’t get discouraged. You do dream.
And another important thing is to get into a sleep cycle that actually suits you.
Some people say, “I can never sleep, I can never dream.” I get it. But even a short nap, fifteen or twenty minutes, can be enough for your soul to travel somewhere. Even if you don’t remember it, that time still counts. Your spirit still went, still learned, still gathered what it needed.
You can also use meditation before sleep to open that channel. I’ll be sharing one soon, a meditation that helps calm the mind and tune your energy so you can slip into that dreaming space more consciously. It’s gentle, but it works.
The Point of It All
Dreams aren’t random. They’re not punishment. They’re not just echoes of childhood. They’re guidance. They’re the language your higher self uses when the mind’s quiet enough to listen.
And I know some people will roll their eyes at that, and that’s fine. You don’t have to believe what I believe. But if you’ve ever had a dream that shook you awake, really woke something up inside you, then you already know there’s truth in what I’m saying.
Dream work isn’t about decoding symbols. It’s about listening.
It’s about realizing that when your eyes close and your body rests, that’s when the deeper part of you opens.
That’s when you wake up.
Guided Meditation: Remembering Your Dreams
About This Meditation
This guided meditation is meant to help you remember your dreams more clearly. You can use it before sleep or during a nap, anytime you want to relax and drift into rest. It uses gentle breathing, body awareness, and simple intention to strengthen the link between your waking mind and your dreams.
Find a quiet place where you can rest without interruption. Sit or lie down, press play, and let the words guide you toward calm awareness. Once the words end, the music will continue for a few minutes so you can fall asleep easily. It will slowly fade out on its own so there is no need to turn anything off or move once you are resting. Keep a journal or voice recorder nearby so when you wake, you can note what you remember. Over time this practice helps you recall your dreams more easily.
This Week’s Vibe
November 10 – 16, 2025
Take what fits and leave what doesn’t. This is a guide, not a rulebook.
The Energy This Week
We’re moving into the deeper half of Scorpio season, where reflection, control, and emotional truth take center stage. The Sun in Scorpio continues to bring clarity through transformation, while Mars, also in Scorpio, adds intensity to how we act and assert ourselves. Midweek, Venus makes a gentle connection with Neptune, softening things with compassion and creativity.
The Moon starts the week in Gemini, stirring communication and curiosity, then moves through Cancer and Leo, ending the week in Virgo. This shift brings an emotional flow, first mental, then nurturing, then expressive, and finally practical.
In plain terms, this week teaches you when to lead and when to loosen your grip. There’s power in confidence, but healing in humility.
Theme of the Week
Tarot: The Emperor (reversed)
Moonology: Full Moon in Leo, “Don’t Let Pride Get in Your Way”
Energy Oracle: Door to Value
This week is about power and perspective. The reversed Emperor warns against overcontrol or rigidity. The Leo Full Moon energy highlights ego, wanting recognition or pushing too hard to prove something. But Door to Value reminds you that your worth doesn’t depend on force, it comes from alignment and authenticity.
Plain terms: let confidence guide you, not pride. Loosen your grip, listen more, and remember your value isn’t earned through control.
Challenge / Shadow
Tarot: Wheel of Fortune (upright)
Moonology: Full Moon Eclipse, “Conclusions Are Within Reach”
Energy Oracle: Third Chakra, Archangel Chamuel
The challenge this week is surrendering to change. The Wheel of Fortune turns whether we’re ready or not, and the Eclipse energy signals big endings or shifts. Archangel Chamuel, tied to the solar plexus, brings courage and confidence through change.
Plain terms: things are moving on purpose. Don’t resist the change, it’s clearing the way for what’s meant to stay.
Gift / Support
Tarot: Knight of Pentacles (upright)
Moonology: Void-of-Course Moon, “Nothing Will Come of This Situation”
Energy Oracle: Contract
The gift this week is consistency. The Knight of Pentacles is steady and dependable, reminding you that small, patient steps win the long game. The Void-of-Course Moon adds stillness, not every battle needs to be fought. The Contract card suggests balance, fairness, and karmic resolution.
Plain terms: keep working, but stay calm. You’re building something real, let it unfold naturally.
Weekend Energy
Moonology Manifestation: New Moon in Virgo, “Trust All Will Be Well”
The weekend brings gentle, healing energy. Virgo focuses on health, order, and self-improvement, while the green tone of this card adds a clear message of emotional and physical healing.
Plain terms: tidy up your space, take care of your body, and breathe. Trust that what you’ve started will grow if you give it time.
🎂 Birthday Note (Nov 10 – 16, 2025)
If your birthday falls this week, your new year of life focuses on balance and rebuilding. Scorpio season’s depth meets the grounded clarity of this week’s energy, helping you find peace through structure and self-trust.
Plain terms: this is your year to lead differently, with calm, not control.
Closing Note
This week asks you to soften the edges. Let change do its work without trying to outthink it. Strength isn’t in how tightly you hold on, it’s in how gracefully you adapt.
🌟 Something Special
The Green Connection
You mentioned the green from your weekend card stood out, and that color’s no accident. In energy work, green links to the heart chakra, the center of healing, compassion, and acceptance. When green shows up, it’s often a nudge to forgive yourself, others, or life for not being perfect. That act alone opens space for new blessings to move in.
🌙 Moon Moments
The Cycle in Motion
This week’s Moon cards, the Full Moon in Leo, the Full Moon Eclipse, and the Void-of-Course Moon, show a cycle of expression, release, and rest. The Leo Moon asks you to show up boldly, the Eclipse helps you close a chapter, and the Void-of-Course Moon invites pause before the next step.
If you want to work with this energy, keep things simple:
Monday to Wednesday, express gratitude or pride in what’s complete.
Thursday to Friday, rest or meditate.
Over the weekend, journal one thing you’re ready to trust again.
The Moon teaches us to flow, act, release, rest, and renew. 🌙
