The Truth About Psychic and Mediumship Work

A lot of people come to psychics and mediums because they want certainty. They want to know what is real, what is coming, what is changing, and what they can count on. But psychic work and mediumship are not the same thing, and certainty does not belong in the same way in both. In mediumship, certainty matters because evidence matters. In psychic work, certainty can be misleading because the future is still moving.

I understand why people ask. Life can feel uncertain, painful, and exhausting. When you are in the middle of something, especially something emotional, you want someone to tell you exactly what is going to happen so you can finally relax.

Mediumship is different. Mediumship requires evidence. It does require a certain level of certainty, because if I’m connecting with someone your soul already knows, then my job is to bring through enough of their personality, their energy, their memories, and their way of being that you know it’s really them.

That’s the point.

In mediumship, I’m not predicting a future that can still change. I’m connecting with someone who already lived here, already had a face, a voice, a personality, relationships, memories, and a life that already happened. That’s why evidence matters so much. That’s why certainty matters there in a different way.

When I am doing a mediumship reading, I am picking up information from someone your soul already knows. I am feeling, hearing, seeing, and sensing impressions from a person who has passed, even though I never knew them here. They will show me personality traits, memories, emotions, certain ways they spoke, things they cared about, and sometimes details that make no sense to me but mean everything to the person sitting in front of me.

That is mediumship to me.

It is communication. It is evidence. It is that person letting their loved one know, I am still here. I am still aware. I am still myself.

That is really the heart of it.

People sometimes want to know exactly where their loved ones are now, what dimension, what level, what realm, what they are doing every second. I understand the question, but I don’t think that is the most important part. Consciousness is much bigger than the human mind wants it to be. Once someone is no longer limited by a body, they are no longer confined in the way we imagine. Consciousness can be far more fluid than that.

What matters most in a mediumship reading is not turning the other side into a map or a theory. What matters is the connection. What matters is that the essence of the person they loved is still alive, still aware, and still able to reach them.

Psychic work is different because now we are talking about things that have not fully happened yet.

If I’m reading your future, your choices, your timing, your opportunities, your relationships, your money, or your path, I’m reading the trajectory you are on right now. I’m reading the momentum. I’m reading what is most likely if nothing changes. But that is different from mediumship, because the future can still move.

That is where I really have to explain this issue of certainty more clearly.

If someone asks me, “Am I going to get that house?” I may immediately see something. Sometimes I will see papers being signed. Sometimes I will see keys. Sometimes I will see movement. Sometimes I will see them in a new place.

But I always go deeper.

Because if they asked me about a specific house, and all I see is them signing papers, that does not automatically mean they are getting that exact house. It means I am seeing movement around a home or a deal or some kind of outcome. So I tell them the truth.

I can see that something is opening. I can see that you are moving toward something. I can see that there is a signing. But I cannot automatically say that it is this exact house unless I am clearly shown that.

And sometimes I am clearly shown that.

Sometimes I will see the house itself. I will describe it, and they’ll say, “Yes, that’s the one.” In a case like that, I will say you are most likely on track for it. But even then, I still don’t like pretending anything is absolute, because people can change, sellers can change, timing can change, life can change.

That is why I always come back to trajectory.

I can read the path you are on right now.

That matters more than false certainty ever will.

A lot of people do not want that answer at first. They want a hard yes or no. But life usually is not that simple.

I have heard stories from people who were told by another psychic, “No, you are not getting that.” Then later they come back and say, “Well, I did get something.” And when you look closer, what happened is they did not get that thing, but they got something better.

So was the psychic right? Sort of. Was the client asking a deeper question than they realized? Usually, yes.

A lot of the time, people are not really asking, “Will I get this exact thing?” What they are really asking is, “Am I moving toward what I need? Am I going to be okay? Is something opening for me?”

That is a very different question.

Same thing with money.

Someone might ask me, “Am I going to make more money this year?” Sometimes when I tune in, I can feel exactly what they are focused on. I can feel the number in their head, the amount they think would finally make them feel safe, the picture they have in their mind of what “better” looks like.

Then I look at the trajectory.

Sometimes I can feel that, yes, things do improve financially, but not in the exact way they are expecting. I can feel that they are taken care of, their needs are met, and life moves them into a better place, even if it doesn’t come through the exact door they were staring at.

In that case, I will tell them that.

I will say yes, your finances get better. It may not be in the exact shape you think right now, but it leads you where you need to go, and you are going to be okay.

Other times I look and I can feel that there is much more available to them than they are currently allowing themselves to believe. I can feel that the improvement is there, but they are still expecting too little, still thinking too small, still bracing for disappointment.

Then I tell them that.

And sometimes I look, and I hit a wall.

Not because I think they are doomed, and not because I enjoy telling someone no, but because right now there is resistance. There is a block. There is some pattern in them that has to shift.

In a case like that, I don’t believe in scaring people or making them dependent on me. I’m not going to tell someone, “No, unless you come back to me again,” or “No, unless you buy this thing,” or “No, unless you do exactly what I say.”

That is manipulation.

What I will say is this:

Right now, no, not on this trajectory. But yes, if you shift something. Be more conscious of your choices. Be more conscious of your spending. Stop speaking over your life like it is already dead. Stop telling yourself you are never going to get anything. Stop moving like someone who has already accepted defeat.

That is where psychic work becomes useful to me, not as a rigid prediction machine, but as a way of seeing the current momentum clearly enough to help someone work with it.

That is also why I get uncomfortable with the way some people use psychic work.

Some people want certainty because certainty sells. It makes people come back. It makes them feel like the psychic has power over the future.

I don’t want that kind of power over anybody.

I don’t want people dependent on me financially, emotionally, or spiritually. I don’t want someone thinking they need to ask me what is going to happen every week before they can trust their own life. That is not healthy, and it is not the kind of work I am here to do.

Even in mediumship, I tell people all the time, you do not need me to talk to your loved ones. I understand why they come to me. Sometimes they want validation. Sometimes they want confirmation. Sometimes they want someone outside of themselves to say, yes, that really was them, yes, you really did feel that, yes, that connection is still there.

I understand that.

But I still want people to know they are not cut off from their own loved ones. They are not helpless. They are not spiritually deaf just because they do not hear things the same way I do.

The same goes for psychic insight.

You do not need me to run your life.

What I can do is help you see what you may not be seeing on your own. I can help you understand the path you are on. I can help you recognize what is opening, what is blocked, what needs attention, and what is already trying to come together.

Then you take that information and do something with it.

That is how I think this work should be used.

Not as a leash. Not as a crutch. Not as a way to hand your power over to somebody else.

Just as a tool.

A real reading, at least to me, should leave you more connected to yourself, not less. It should leave you clearer, not more dependent. It should help you trust your own inner knowing, not make you afraid to move without permission.

So no, I don’t sell certainty, at least not when it comes to the future.

What I sell is honesty. What I sell is what I actually see. What I sell is the clearest read I can give you on the energy as it is right now, and the trajectory you are on.

In mediumship, I offer something different. I offer evidence. I offer connection. I offer the certainty that the person coming through is real, that they are still themselves, and that the bond you have with them did not disappear just because their body did.

After that, your life is still yours.

And I believe that’s how it should be.

The following is a simple exercise to help you receive a prediction by tuning into what’s going on right now. You’re not guessing or forcing anything, you’re just noticing what already feels in motion and where it seems to be headed. What you get isn’t a fixed future, it’s the current direction of things, and that can always shift. After you’re done, pay attention to how the situation actually plays out. That’s how you start to see what you picked up on, and how accurate it was.
