Breaking the Spell
Exploring curses, cosmic fear, and the beliefs that hold us back from remembering who we really are
There are a lot of beliefs floating around the spiritual world right now—ideas like curses, the prison planet theory, astrology dictating your fate, and doom-filled psychic predictions. These concepts are dressed up in cosmic language and fear-based rhetoric, and they promise certainty in a chaotic world. But here’s the truth: when you start to believe you’re cursed, that you’re trapped on a prison planet, or that your chart has sealed your destiny, you’re giving away your power.
If those beliefs bring you peace or serve as a coping mechanism, that’s your path—I respect that. However, if they make you feel stuck, anxious, or limited, it’s time to ask yourself: Is this belief expanding me, or is it shrinking me?
Let’s break it down.
Curses and Fear-Based Narratives
When someone tells you you’ve been cursed, they’re not offering true guidance—they’re feeding fear. Curses are presented as external forces that hold you down, but nothing has power over you unless you give it permission. If you feel like an external force is keeping you from living your fullest life, consider that it might simply be a belief that no longer serves you. The moment you reclaim your energy and refuse to let that fear define you, the curse loses its grip—like mist evaporating in the sun.
The Prison Planet Theory
The notion that Earth is a prison suggests that some higher force has trapped you here. But if you believe in free will, you can’t also believe you’re locked in against your choice. We chose to be here. Life is a classroom, not a cell. Sure, there are challenges and hardships, but those moments are opportunities for growth—not punishment. Real spiritual freedom is about recognizing that you have the power to choose your direction.
Astrology and Predestined Fate
I don’t reject astrology entirely; I believe it can offer insights. However, when someone insists that your life path number determines whether you’ll ever be wealthy or successful, that’s a limitation dressed up as destiny. Your soul didn’t incarnate to follow a fixed script. Astrology and numerology are tools to guide self-reflection, not chains that bind you to a predetermined fate. If a belief makes you feel boxed in, it’s time to let it go.
Psychic Doom and Ego in Disguise
I often see people claiming, “My guide told me this will happen,” or predicting global events with unwavering certainty. True guides aren’t here to broadcast doom or micromanage your life; they’re here to remind you of your own inner truth. When someone channels fear—especially if they backpedal when proven wrong—it’s usually not genuine guidance but the ego trying to fill a void. Real spiritual wisdom empowers you; it doesn’t scare you into submission.
The Path Forward
Spirituality should liberate you. It’s about remembering who you truly are—the dreamer, the maker of the music, the author of your own story. If any belief or narrative makes you feel small or trapped, question it. Ask yourself: Does this expand me, or does it shrink me?
If it shrinks you, it’s time to break the spell.
You have the power to write your own play, to choose your own path, and to let go of fear-based ideas that no longer serve your growth. In this ever-changing world, reclaiming your truth is the most radical act of all
.

I love how you combat the things that cause fear and work to explain it calmly and rationally. There are too many fear agents out there.
David your constant reminders that we have free will is always helpful 🥰 I choose love over fear ♥️
